The ASC Portable Strap Chopper cuts both portable bandsaws and steel strapping up to 2" wide and .050 thickness, as well as Plastic Strapping from 3/8" up to 2", and is constructed to mount on a 55 gallon drum to collect the scrap. Over engineered for the job ensures nearly maintenance free use. The cutting dies are 4-sided and can be easily sharpened with a surface grinder.
